Whether you are
exercising for fun, athletic training or for physical rehabilitation
in order to recover from an injury or surgery, the spinoFLEX provides
greater safety, stability and support while taking pressure off the
spine. Specific exercises help attenuate an injury and prevent it from
resurfacing. Keeping the body active increases the endorphin levels,
which alleviate and help keep symptomology under control.
The muscles which have the greatest influence on the lower back are
the quadriceps, hamstrings, abdominal muscles and lower back extensor
muscles. The major hip flexors can also be more effectively stretched
and strengthened by spinoFLEX.
The spinoFLEX's
adaptability allows users to change postures frequently (every 3 minutes
or so) to prevent boredom and obtain a full body workout. The adaptable
spinoFLEX allows you to develop exercise plans which are specific to
individual conditions, weight, age, needs and capabilities.
The following reference
table shows a set of representative exercises using specific attachments
or configurations. The table is divided into four categories
as shown. Refer to this table to identify suitable exercises to fit
your needs.
